Soupe à l’oignon gratinée

Traditional French onion soup, sourdough toast, Comté cheese           milk, wheat

 

Millefeuille de légumes (vegan) Vegan rainbow layercake – delicate layers of button mushroom, courgette, carrot, potato, spinach, parsley, tarragon, chives (wheat-free)

 

Parfait de foie de canard au Porto

Duck liver paté made with 100% duck and a dash of Port           milk

Sauté de boeuf “Zelensky”    Strips of fillet of beef sautéed with paprika, red onion, Welsh vodka, served in a roasted red pepper with triple-cooked chips – our creation in support of Ukraine has become a classic   celery, milk (wheat-free)

 

Filet de bar à la biscayenne     Grilled fillet of sea bass with a biscayenne sauce of peppers, onions, piment d’Espelette served with duchess potatoes   fish, milk (wheat-free)

Tempeh sauté (vegan)   Fricassée of Tempeh with leeks, butter beans and green and red peppers  soya, celery (wheat-free)

Tarte des demoiselles Tatin  - A traditional upside-down apple tart served warm with Pant-y-Gwydr vanilla ice cream  milk, wheat

 

Crème brûlée à la vanille de Madagascar

Crème brulée - topped with caramelized brown ‘cassonade’ cane sugar milk

 

Les trois fromages  français - a selection of three French unpasteurized cheeses, pâte de fruits milk, wheat (biscuits)

We are fully booked at lunchtime on Christmas Day 2025

but still taking bookings up to and including Christmas Eve 

The restaurant is open for private bookings on Sundays for parties of 15 or more

ADVANCE RESERVATION IS REQUESTED

Restaurant opening times (upon reservation):

Tuesday from 6pm (closed at lunchtime on Tuesdays)

Wednesday to Saturday lunch (12pm-3pm) and dinner (6pm-11pm)
